Enjoy Making a Mother's Day Card
Making a Mother's Day card is a great way to show your mom how much she means to you. Even if you're a novice card maker, you can design this pretty flowered card in just one afternoon. Feel free to personalize the card by selecting cardstock and patterned paper colors that reflect your mom's unique sense of style.
Draw a spiral on a sheet of paper.
Cut out the spiral and roll it carefully to the center until it looks like a flower. Use a glue dot to attach the flower to the middle of the spiral.
Cut out several circles from coordinating patterned papers. Ink around the edges of each circle for added dimension. Stack the circles together and add a button or brad to the center to make a second flower for your Mother's Day card.
Cut out a heart and ink the edges.
Glue all three embellishments to the front of your card.
Finishing making a Mother's Day card by adding the sentiment of your choice using rub-ons, stickers, or rubber stamps. For more simple card making projects, please review the LoveToKnow Crafts slideshow Budget Handmade Card Making Ideas.
