This site is not helpful. I am looking for the instructions to the 'Sew much fun' knitting machine. I already have the machine, but lost the instructions in english. Is there any site or way i am able to know the instructions to how to make a simple scarf? Please help.

I haven't been able to find anyone making anything but hats and scarves with this machine. However, I am wondering if you have the Sew Easy Knitting machine or another tool. The average retail price for the Sew Easy is only $20.

As you can see from our other reader comments, it appears that several people disagree with our original writer's assessment of the Sew Easy Knitting Machine. If your daughter is interested in learning to knit, you may have better luck helping her find one of the instructional books listed on the Woolworks Web site.

-- Contributed by: DanahindersI am a Dad who just spent two hours of frustration with my daughter trying to get this machine to work. I have never knitted before so obviously I am unfamiliar with some of the basic concepts of starting and stopping a project. I found the instructions very unhelpful. It seems that along with most products made in China, the writers of these instruction booklets also have English as a second or third language. I need some kind of Knitting for idiots instruction. Actually, what would be best is some sort of instructional DVD even one online. Each time we would make a tubular project it would unravel on both ends despite my trying to tie a knot. I am sure its because I don't understand loops and hooks. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

-- Contributed by: DanahindersI also would not recommend the Sew Easy Knitting Machine for the same reason. I used it prior giving it to my daughter to see how it worked. I used it extremely gently as I wanted to make sure the thread went through each hook. The crank handle broke within two hours of EXTREMELY GENTLE handling... For me it was a waste of money and very frustrating. Maybe the reviewer should have used it a little longer.
-- Contributed by: SallyMy daughter got the Sew Easy Knitting Machine. She made 3 beautiful scarves and then the handle broke off. There was no abuse of the machine involved. Actually I was helping her thread the machine when it happened. There is an address and phone number for Natural Science Industries incase a part breaks, but it is not current. When doing a google search it comes up that the building they were in was razed for a housing plan. So, I would not recommend it for the above reasons.
