The Contact Us page on the Michaels site has phone and email contact information for the company headquarters. I'm sure they would be able to answer your question.
Enjoy your new store! The Michaels in my area closed three years ago and I still miss it.

I'm sorry to hear you are having trouble buying craft supplies in your local area. However, LoveToKnow Crafts is not affiliated with the Michaels chain of stores. If you'd like to discuss an issue with a store representative, you'll need to call 1-800-MICHAELS.

-- Contributed by: DanahindersHi! I live in between these two zipcodes 28959 & 28621.There are no crafts stores in these area and the nearest is over 1 hour away. The local Walmart is no longer selling cloth and is deleting most of their craft planograms. With the increase cost of gasoline would choose not to travel the distance to your nearest store.I would love to see one of your stores in our area. And so would alot of other people. There are alot of crafts homemakers in this area. Wish your company was here or in the near future. Thanks! Debbie
-- Contributed by: DebbieMy name is Valeria Robinson and I have been a loyal customer of Michaels for years. Last night my experience at the store located at 8131 Brier Creek Pkwy in Raleigh, NC left me unable to walk into another Michael's store again. I approached the cash register with my arms loaded. There was a sales lady straightening candy up. She looked at me and continued to "fix the candy". I got in line behind the next customer. A few minutes later a caucasian women approached and the lady that was "fixing the candy" immediately stopped what she was doing and went to a register to ring up her purchases. Now me being a women of color I was appalled at the blanent racism that was shown. So my question is this the type of treatment some of your employees display towards certain races? I would like to think that it's not in this day and time. But I can't help feeling angry and saddened at the possibility that it is.

I'm sorry you had such a terrible experience at your local Michaels. Iâve also had the experience of being excited to start a project and unable to find the supplies I needed.
Unfortunately, since we aren't affiliated with this store, LoveToKnow Crafts can't really resolve your issue. However, I would suggest calling 1-800-MICHAELS to let the corporate office know about your poor impression of the service you received. Unless you let the company know they need to do a better job of training their help, the poor service is likely to continue.

-- Contributed by: DanahindersI don't know if this is the right place to complain, but,I have never complained about Michaels Craft Stores. Today I went into one and I ask if they had any quilling supplies. There was one lady, she had curly hair, and I won't guess her age because if I get it wrong, I would really feel bad.Maybe in her forties o young 50's. She was a worker there. She was trying to help me and she said she hadn't seen anything on quilling, well she probably didn't, but she went to ask, the person, a young blonde girl, if we had any quilling supplies. She just said no, we don't carry anything like that. I really didn't like the way she answered the clerk. It was like she was too busy and too important to be bothered with something like that. I am older woman, a young 62, and know my crafts and I do not like the younger generation starting to work in these jobs and think they are it!!!!!!, because they don't know anything. I felt bad for the clerk and I wouldn't want her in trouble at all. By the way, I went to look for some blank cards and etc, guess what, I found some quilling supplies. It wasn't much, but you did have them. I remember when I was younger and was in charge of two big departments, I was to know everything there. A customer didn't have to guess and keep looking. This was a very large department store. When I was 16 I worked in a five and dime, it was called, and I knew where everything was. We had to know this or we didn't work. You were tested.
