As the article states, finding a hat knitting machine available for the home crafter is basically impossible. A standard flat bed knitting machine in the highest quality you can afford is your best bet.

Hi there, what knitting machine would I need to do hats only. I can't seem to find a suitable circular machine. I do childrens hats for the most part. I want a good machine that is going to last for a long time. Not a $20 one. Can you tell me what I should get or point me in the right direction. thanks so much
