My soon to be 9 year old just got done making a hat for me, it took her 2 evenings, and she did great!! She is very proud of it, and so am I!! Thanks for the free patterns!!! Kristy

I believe tweens should be able to complete a loom knitted scarf with adult supervision. Loom knitting is much easier than standard knitting. However, it is true that some tweens may lack the patience for this type of project.
