I, too, am wondering about the actual assembly of the pillow. A bit more detail on how to take your cross-stitch design and attach it to the actual pillow would be much appreciated. :) I have a pillow form, some cloth I like, and the pattern is all done, but I am at a loss as to how to put them all together.

Ok. I have a question. I have recently just finished a cross-stitch of a penguin and I want to make a pillow out of it. Would it be ok if I took a piece of fabric(color blue) and sewed the cross-stitch piece on to it and then took that fabric and sewed it to another piece of blue fabric? After I do that, I can then stuff it.

Kat,

No, you do not need to put the pillow together until you've completed the design on the front. Assembling the pillow with the stuffing is the last step in the process.

So do we put together the pillow "body" first (with the stuffing inside) first? That part is what confuses me.
