Di,

I don't really have experience in this area, but I've heard of people simply adding body glitter or shimmery powder eyeshadow to their regular lotion recipe. I would suggest trying it with a small amount of lotion first, though. You wouldn't want to ruin the whole batch if the effect isn't what you were hoping for!

Nadia,

If it's labeled as skin safe or cosmetic grade, I believe you can.

Hi. I want to make my own body cream/lotion with vanilla fragrance. Problem is, I cant seem to find Vanilla oil in South Africa. Can I use vanilla essence instead? Nadia

Loga,

Unfortunately, I do not know the answer to your question. But, if you post in our Crafts Forum, perhaps another visitor can assist you.

Mm,

It looks like one of the referenced sites is now out of business, so I've removed those links.

Recently i bought raw shear butter oil and am looking for a way to purify and scent it for use as a body oil. How do I go about this. Any advice will be highly appreciated. Thanks
