Samantha,

I haven't heard that tip before, but it does make sense. Thanks for sharing!

I read in this book about gel candles by "C. Kaila Westerman" that i good way to remove surface bubbles is to use a hair dryer or heat gun to blow warm air over the candle.

Sherene,

In most cases, the bubbles in a gel candle will occur naturally with little effort on your part. In fact, there are a number of web sites devoted to telling candle makers how to remove the bubbles from their gel candles!

However, you'll likely get more bubbles in your candle if you use a wooden spoon to stir the gel and you pour the gel at a slightly lower temperature than normal.
