Knitting Video Podcasts
From LoveToKnow Crafts
Knitting video podcasts are a wonderful way for new knitters to learn the basic techniques of knitting and for experienced knitters to further develop their craft. Knitting has always been very difficult to learn without seeing the actual moving visual cues of an instructor. Although knitting books and magazines do give detailed instructions, learning how to knit has remained challenging for many people.
Let’s Knit 2gether Video Podcast
Let’s Knit 2gether has been producing very well made video podcasts on various knitting topics since September 2006. The podcast's creators, Eric and CAT Susch, use a simple instructional technique for teaching knitting. Throughout the podcast, CAT sits in a chair and demonstrates the knitting technique of the podcast step by step. She makes it easy and enjoyable to follow the steps in the project of the day.
Along with the project instructions and techniques, CAT also shows and explains her completed projects, takes viewers on tours of knitters’ studios, and visits events such as the Stitch and Pitch game between the Mets and the Braves at Shea Stadium.
CAT Susch covers many knitting topics on her podcasts. The instructional topics include:
