Here's a simple free Valentine's Day Project
Materials for your Free Valentine's Day Project
- Red color chart from a paint supply store (or use card stock or construction paper in red and pink)
- Aluminum foil
- Glitter glue
- Sketch pens
- Small Valentine's Day stickers
Instructions for your Free Valentine's Day Project
Cut six heart-shaped pieces out of the red color chart or card stock. Set aside two pieces for front cover and back cover.
On the remaining pieces, write with a dark pen about special moments or things you love about your valentine. You might fill the pages as follows:
- Write the best moment with your loved one.
- Write the best quality / good qualities of your loved one.
- Write why your loved one is important to you.
- Express how much you love your loved one.
Decorating your Free Valentine's Day Project
Decorate the pages by drawing around the edges with glitter glue. Allow it to dry.
Decorate the front cover of your book with a romantic or favorite photo of you with your loved one. Again decorate around the photograph with glitter and write a message like "Happy Valentine's Day" on the front. Decorate around the edges of the front and back cover by wrapping the edges with thin strips of aluminum foil, glued down to make a border.
On the back write another message and again make a border of foil. Decorate with stickers where you have extra space on the covers and pages.
When the sheets are all dry, put them in order and staple together, or use a hole punch to punch a hole in the top part of the hearts and tie together with ribbon or raffia.
This idea would also be great for little birthday books or other holidays.
