Making Father’s Day Arts and Crafts for Kids

Creating a homemade Father’s Day gift with your kids will be easier and more enjoyable if you remember the following simple tips:

  • Before you begin, read the instructions carefully to make sure you understand how to complete the project.
  • Gather all of the necessary supplies in advance. Children have short attention spans, so you don’t want to stop the activity to search for a missing item.
  • Choose a project that is appropriate for your child’s age and ability level.
  • Provide assistance as needed whenever your child is working with scissors, hot glue, or other potentially dangerous items.

  • Stickers

  2. Use one sheet to design a cover for your coupon book. You can write “Happy Father’s Day!” or the message of your choice on the cover, then decorate as desired.
  3. On the remaining sheets, write out the coupon ideas in your best handwriting. Ideas for possible coupons may include one free car wash, breakfast in bed, a big hug, leaf raking, lawn mowing, or one hour of silence.
