Christmas Card Verses
From LoveToKnow Crafts
One of the best things about making your own handmade greetings is that you can customize Christmas card verses to suit your personal taste.
Choosing Christmas Card Verses
Since there are many Christmas card verses available, choosing the right words for your holiday greeting can sometimes seem like an impossible task. However, the job will be easier if you consider the following:
- How do you feel about the Christmas holiday? Ideally, your card should have a verse that makes a statement about your personality.
- Do you tend to procrastinate? If your cards won’t be mailed until December 24, you may want to opt for a New Year greeting instead of wishing everyone a Merry Christmas!
- Who is receiving your card? For example, a saying you find humorous may not be appreciated by your grandmother or your boss.
- Do the people on your holiday card list celebrate Christmas? If you’re sending cards to someone who is Jewish, a general winter greeting may be a better choice than a very religious Christian Christmas sentiment.
If you truly can’t decide what to include on the inside of your Christmas card, consider making two or three different card designs. Or, you can purchase the Christmas quote stack from Die Cuts with a View and attach each vellum sentiment to your card with brads or eyelets. When you’re making handmade greeting cards, your options are endless!

Comments
To you who reads this message: Jesus Christ was born around this date more than 2000 years ago. HE is the reason why Christmas exists. And HE LOVES YOU. He died at the age of 33 as part of a Godly plan of salvation. HE was willing to die with one purpose in His mind: to pay for the punishment that you and I (and everybody else) deserve for the multitude of our offenses against the Creator of all (called sins). JESUS CHRIST DIED FOR YOU, so that your spirit wouldn't die forever (because of your sins). God loves you! Celebrate your FIRST REAL Christmas by opening your heart to Him!!
