The AromaWeb recipe section has multiple recipes for mixing essential oils to create aromatherapy blends. They are not specifically labeled for candle making, but you can simply use these oil blends with the candle making technique of your choice.

Generally, it is not recommended to use petroleum-based waxes for making candles with essential oils. Since the essential oils used in aromatherapy are a natural product, using an artificial wax to make the candle reduces the product’s therapeutic benefits. In addition, petroleum-based paraffin wax contains carcinogenic toxins and contributes to global warming.

If you invest in high-quality soy wax or beeswax for your candles, you’ll have a product that is sweet smelling, clean burning, and environmentally-friendly.
