One of my favorite blogs, Dollar Store Crafts, recently had a post about making a quilt from bandannas. I’m terrible at sewing, but it looks like a fun project for someone interested in quilting. And, since the bandannas come in so many different colors, you could make it find almost any decor scheme.

Hi Dana - I used to sew quite a bit but not so much anymore. I took a look at the bandanna quilt and it is really very pretty and quite simple to make. It would be a fun project and the finished quilt would only cost about $20.

That is a neat way to make a quilt. You could do it with any fabric, really, that was in evenly cut sqaures of fabric that are the same size. But bandannas are probably the most uniform and easiest to work with.
